Kolot Mayim Reform Temple is a warm, welcoming congregation of about 100 persons on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in Victoria, British Columbia. Founded in 1997 by a few families meeting monthly in each other’s homes, the Victoria Reform Jewish Congregation has grown to include bi-weekly Kabbalat Shabbat services, a dynamic and engaging Religious School that is held in conjunction with Congregation Emanu-El, and to celebrating Festival, Holiday and Life-Cycle events. For several years, Kolot Mayim has organized a traditional Passover Seder open to anyone in the Community, and partipicpates in Jewish community activities at Hanukah, L'ag B'omer, Purim etc.
As a small congregation, Kolot Mayim is able to provide a family-like atmosphere that is especially welcoming to people new to the area. We are the spiritual home to families, single people, elders in the community and college students far from home. Our families include all orientations, ages and backgrounds. When you come to Kolot Mayim, you truly come home.
