The Kolot Mayim Board and Rabbi Lynn invite you to join us for two outdoor Kabbalat Shabbat services on August 7th and 21st. Please RSVP to our e-mail: km@kolotmayimreformtemple.com.
We will be continuing to follow the instructions given by our medical officer Dr. Bonnie Henry as well, so the number of attendees is limited to 50 people.
Weather permitting, we invite you to pack up your favourite picnic supper and join us for a picnic Shabbat supper from 5-6 pm and then stay for a short Kabbalat Shabbat service from 6-7 pm. We will be meeting on the grass field area at Gyro Park/Cadboro Bay. Thanks to Leah Kinarthy for guiding us through the Covid plan that Saanich parks required.
Gary Cohen will be playing music for us, and we are looking forward to a freilich summer evening together. We will provide another reminder closer to the date. We will also have a signup sheet on August 7th for people to borrow a Siddur (if you wish), to use while we continue to hold services (after August) on Zoom. This will be a temporary measure (we hope), but will enable members to engage with future services without using PowerPoint, thus enabling us to see more of each other on screen. We are really looking forward to seeing you in August. Be well, be safe, be kind.
