Presented by Maurice Yacowar, a retired professor of English and Film Studies. He’s written books analyzing the films of Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, Hitchcock, etc. Twenty years ago he wrote an analysis of The Sopranos TV series. Now he has just published a similar, episode-by-episode study of the Israeli TV drama, Shtisel. He’ll do a short talk on its moral lesson, then open for discussion.
