Kolot Mayim continues it’s participation in ICA’s Interfaith program. Last year we participated in the “Interlaced Storytellng Project” which was very successful. This year’s project is “Perspectives on Faith and Identity: A Youth Documentary Project”. This a youth driven multimedia project that will bring four youths together from four different faith groups that includes the First Nations. Participants will share and reflect how their spiritual life and identity motivates them to take action for and within their community.
Selected participants will work together as a team under the direction of photojournalist Quinton Gordon and documentary filmmaker Andrew Naysmith. The goal is to produce a high quality 20-minute documentary that will be entered into country-wide film screenings.
The candidate must be 18 – 30 years old. No experience is necessary. It is open to all members of the Jewish Community. A $1000 honorarium will be awarded to the successful candidate. For more information or to apply contact Neal Wasser at wassfamvic@yahoo.com or call 778-677-7758
